Aug. 6, 1932 - Feb. 15, 2016 Julian E. Kendrick, Jr., Age, 83 went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 15, 2016. He was born in Birmingham, AL on August 6, 1932 to Julian and Emily Kendrick. He was married to the love of his life, Carolyn Propst Kendrick for 64 years. He loved his church, Central Park Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there for many years. Later, he and his family moved their membership to First Baptist Alabaster. He retired from Campbell Soup Company after 30 years. He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Kendrick; son: Gregg Kendrick (Daphne); daughters: Katherine Inman (Thomas) and Elaine Connors (Marty); grandson: Patrick Inman (Amanda); granddaughters: Katie Jones (Kyle), Caitlin Connors and Alexa Kendrick; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Ceremony to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
