Big Stone Gap, VA - Leigh Ann Bolinskey, 39, passed into her Saviors arms on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Bristol Regional Medical Center after a long dedicated battle with cancer.

Leigh Ann graduated from Appalachia High School Class of 1993; she then continued her passion for learning at the University of Emory & Henry earning a degree in journalism and mass communication. Leigh Ann was a member of the K-Phi; she was a loving wife, mother, aunt, daughter and friend; Leigh Ann had a definite passion for helping others and giving selflessly of herself, she loved being an inspiration and enriching everyone's life.

Leigh Ann was a lifelong member of the Derby Methodist Church; she loved Appalachia Bulldogs and Notre Dame football; she enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and coaching soccer.

Surviving is her loving husband, Tim Bolinskey of the home; son Brycen and daughter Jasmine of the home; her loving parents, Gary and Kathy Kennedy of Appalachia; one brother, Adam Kennedy and wife Jennifer of Back Valley Rd; Nephews Tanner and Colton, and niece Addison also of Back Valley Rd; sister, Tessa Sloan of Big Stone Gap; mother-in-law and father-in-law Cathy and Bob Orr of Big Stone Gap; aunt, Susie Atkins of Strawberry Patch; aunt and uncle Cindy and Pat Leedy of Kingsport; aunt Pat Kennedy of Big Stone Gap; two Great Aunts Ima Jenkins of Detroit and Agnes Bailey of Big Stone Gap; two brother-in-laws, Steve and wife Tiffany Bolinskey of Big Stone Gap, John Kelly and wife Brittany of Roda, VA; special card playing buddies and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday (May 10, 2014) at 12 p.m. in Holding Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Rose officiating

Interment will follow in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap.

Pallbearers will be; David Wheatley, Michael Wampler, Paul Sowards, Steve Bolinskey, John Kelly, Rusty Gilly, Teddy Collier, and Tony Aistrop
