76, High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care,
formerly of Queensport, died December 14, 2000
in St Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Peasbrook, Guysborough, Co, she was a daughter of the late Lavina (Munroe) and Fred Kennedy. As a young woman she lived and worked on the Queensport Lighthuose, as an airplane spotter during the Second World War and later was employed by Metthews and Scott Ltd, Queensport. Surviving are sons, Graham, John, Paul; daughter Margaret; sisters Jessie, Muriel, Jeannie; brothers Carl, Cleve, Robert; three grandchildren; many neices and nephews, as well as her extended family at the High-Crest Home for Special Care. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years,Clyde, brothers Charlie, Stanley Kennedy; sisters Margaret Morgan. Funeral service was Saturday in Half Island Cove Baptist Church, Pastor David Wheeler Officiated. Burial in the United Cemetery, Queensport. Donations to High-Crest Sherbrooke Hatcher Memorial Bus Fund (Box 284, Sherbrooke B0J 3C0)
