Sand Hill Woman Died at Her Home on Sunday, November 6

Martha Alice Killen, daughter of Fletcher and Frances Killen was born in Kentucky, January 24, 1868, and died at her home in Sand Hill, Missouri, on November 6, 1938.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Arthur L. Huff from the Sand Hill Church on Tuesday, November 8, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

She came with her father to Ray County, Missouri in 1885. She was married to R. T. Atwell December 25, 1894.

To this union three children were born. One daughter died in infancy and two sons, David S. and Willie R. survive.

She came with her family to Scotland County, Missouri in 1903.

She leaves her husband, two sons and four grandchildren.
