Katherine R. "Kay" (Kilroy) Inglis
Of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, a resident at John Adams Nursing Home, died on January 1, 2008. Wife of the late Edward D. Inglis. Loving mother of Katherine J. Callahan of South Easton, formerly of Quincy, Jeanne E. Inglis of Hudson, FL and Joan M. Meade of Randolph, formerly of Dorchester. Sister of the late John Kilroy, Margaret Earley and Joseph Kilroy. Grandmother of Edward Inglis, Robert Callahan, Carol Feindel, Kathie Malefatto, Debbie Callahan, Daniel Meade, Ellen Taft and the late Patricia Callahan. Katherine is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren. Katherine worked at the Joslin Clinic for more than 20 years, retiring back in 1970. She was an active member at St. Ann's Parish in Dorchester, especially with St. Ann's Band. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed puzzles. She will be remembered as a caring, gentle women who was able to fix just about anything. Her life's focus was her family and she will be sadly missed by them all. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10 AM.
