She was born, July 20, 1907 in Eureka, [Walla Walla County] Wash., and died Nov. 17, 1989, at North Bend.
Mrs. King formally worked for the Coos Bay Gown Shop and the White House and Emporium as a sales clerk. She had lived in the area for most of her life.
Survivors include her sisters, Edna Hair of San Francisco, Calif., and Verna G. Michaels of Portland; nieces, Pat Allison of North Bend and Dorothy Montgomery; many nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
