Gary F. Kiramidjian, a resident of Boise, Idaho, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while partaking in one of his many favorite pastimes - playing league softball.

His passions were any and all sports and wilderness activities, and his 65 GTO.

Gary was born in Fresno, California to Vahram and Barbara Kiramidjian.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

In 2004 Gary retired early as a Chief Ranger with the National Park Service (UPS) after a distinguished and awarded 26 years including two of the highest honors given by the NPS.

He then moved his family to Boise, Idaho, built their home, and devoted all his time to his two young sons.

Gary was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was a lifelong friend to all who knew him from childhood to present. His compassion and giving spirit are beyond words. His crazy sense of humor will live on in his kids for life. Gary, you were the best. We are overwhelmed with the pain of your loss, and you'll be sorely missed by all. You were summoned home way too soon, but we feel your presence over us and you will always be in our hearts and touch-ing our souls. So long and give mom our love.

He was a 1967 graduate of Fresno High School, and a 1976 graduate from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Earth Sciences.

He was a member of SAE Fraternity where he served two terms as President.

He is survived by Karen, his loving wife of nine years; two sons Kyle, age six and Collin, age four; sister, Gayle Platsis and her husband Jerry Platsis of Elk Grove, California; brother, Jim Kiramidjian and his wife Teri of Boise, Idaho; his father, Vahram Karmy Kiramidjian of Fres-no, California, and many nieces, nephews and a newly born great-niece

A Memorial Service was held in Boise, Idaho on Monday, June 4, 2007.

The family has set up a College Trust for Gary's two little boys.
