KLINGLER, Thomas A., age 56 of Lake Orion, died April 17, 2016. Beloved husband of Kathryn for 29 years; loving father of Ashley; dear son of Martha and the late Richard Klingler; brother of James; brother-in-law of Bernard (Teri) Sutphin, Diane (John) Peebles, and Kenneth (Charlene) Sutphin.

Thomas retired from General Motors after 33 years. He leaves wonderful co-workers and friends with a number of patents to his name. He was very active in his church, including being the chair of Finance Council, and mentoring the youth of the parish through Project People.

He loved boating, traveling, hunting, and loved working with his hands.

Funeral Mass Thursday, April 21, 2016 – 11 a.m. with an in-state of 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4 – 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 – 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service and Sharing Time at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Road, Orion.
