He became a metallurgical engineer for DuPont Corp. in Delaware, then moved to Maryland in the early 1960s.
Mr. Klingler, 72, of Columbia, Md., died Feb. 5 at Vantage Home Retirement Community in Columbia. He had cancer.
He was born in Canton.
He studied at Case before and after serving in the Navy in World War II.
Surviving are sons, David of Columbia, William of Annapolis, Md., Kenneth of Upper Darby, Pa., and Robert of Salisbury, Md.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 2216 Pot Spring Rd., Timonium, Md.
