Ed was a graduate of Littlestown High School, he was a self-employed carpenter for most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three sons, six daughters and a stepdaughter: David Klingler of Hanover, Angie Senecal of Hanover, Mico Edward Klingler of Flordia, Melissa Milburn of East Berlin, Renee Klingler of Littlestown, Heidi Klingler of Dover, Patrick Smith, Lindsey Smith and Amanda Hucks all of East Berlin, Bonnie Wilheim of Harrisburg; two brothers, Francis "Buddy" Klingler of Biglerville and Warren Klingler of Missouri; one sister, Marilyn Eckard of Hanover; also 20 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Justine Cox.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Ed G. Klingler will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1495 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, with Elder Tyree Berlin, officiating.
