Sharon Rose "Sherri" Gibson, 67, died Saturday, March 08, 2014 at the University of Louisville hospital. She was born in Jeffersonville, and was a Volunteer Coordinator/Counselor for Wayside Christian Mission and the Healing Place.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Grant and Nellie Lanore Pearson Knowland.
Survivors include a son, Gary Wayne Gibson Sr. of Clarksville, a daughter Sheri Morgan of Clarksville, two sisters, Verna Dickey (Bruce) of Louisville, Dorothy Combs of Lexington, TN., a brother, William Grant "Rusty" Knowland Jr.(Janet) of New Salisbury, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen per Sherri's request. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Chapman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday
