GALESBURG, IL - Myrtle B. Kemmer, 86, formerly of 922 McClure St., died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 1991, at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois, where she was a resident.
Born Jan. 9, 1905, in Morrison to Elmont and Hannah Morris Knox, she married Edward L. Kemmer on July 14, 1923, in Morrison. He died Nov. 12, 1974.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Alexander of Galesburg; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg.
