Harriett A. Flavin , 81, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home, surrounded by her loving family. Harriett was born in Syracuse and was the daughter of John and Katherine Wiszniewski Kondratowicz. Harriett was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Stephen's Church. She was an illustrator for the Jail Ministry newspaper.
Harriett is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Flavin ; her children, Diana (Jeff) Skinner of Fabius, Andrea Krebbeks of Ithaca, Matthew Flavin , Melissa (Jim) Spencer, Valerie (Steven) Rotella and Amy (TJ) Smith; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph (Dorothy) Kondratowicz and Edwin Kondratowicz.
Calling Hours: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and 9:30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
