Bernice passed peacefully away on May 26, 2013 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell. Reverend Tony Oelrich will officiate. Entombment will take place in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.
Bernice was born on October 19, 1916 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Louis and Eleanora (Barthelemy) Kraus. She married Victor Gohmann on October 15, 1940 in Luxemburg. Bernice worked at the St. Cloud Surgical Center from 1975 until 1985. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, St. Margaret's and St. Joseph's Societies, St. Anne's Christian Women, and R.S.V.P.
Bernice will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends and was well known for her fresh baked bread.
She is survived by her children; Ronald (Pat) of St. Louis Park, LeRoy (Ginny) of Woodbury, Karen (Al) Weber of Luxemburg, Patricia (Tom) Kaeter of St. Cloud and Mary (Gary) Justin of St. Cloud; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and brother, Orville Kraus of New Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor in 2008; one grandson, Troy Weber; brothers, Alfred, Earl, George, Clarence, Virgil; sisters, Irene Reinert, Erma Lehnen, and Dorothy Feddema.
