William A. Kreger, tax collector, Polk township, Monroe county, for the past twenty years, died at his home in Kresgeville, Sunday night, 11.35 o'clock, from complications following an illness of several months. He was in his fifty-sixth year.

Husband of Mary, nee Snyder, Kreger, the deceased was born, May 28, 1879, in Polk township, a son of the late Henry and Susan nee Baumgardner, Kreger.

He was a member of Gilbert Reformed church, P. O. S. of A., Kresgeville, and Knights of Friendship, Palmerton.

There survive, his wife; these children, Mrs. Roy Berger, Palmerton; John, Weissport; Mrs. Florence Cleren, at home; Mrs. Paul Berger, Trachsville; Mrs. Harvey Berger, Aquashicola; Mitchell, Kresgeville; Mrs. Delbert Frable, at home; four brothers; three sisters, and fourteen grandchildren.
