She was born at home, in Trachsville, in 1934 to Preston and Mamie (Christman) Beers Sr.
Survivors: Gloria grew up on a farm in Trachsville and graduated from Lehighton High School. She met Harold when he came calling on her after seeing her for the first time at the West End Fair a week earlier. They married in August 1952 and she worked side by side with him on their family farm, as they raised four children, Sherry Watson (Jerry) of Pequea, Tod Kreger (Barbara) of Kunkletown, Ted Kreger (Sherry) of Kresgeville and Ben Kreger of Point Pleasant, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Holly Lehman (Corey), Amanda Heckman (Nick), Jared, Traci and Adam Kreger and four great grandchildren.
Services: A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, if desired, contributions may be made to a charity, church or organization of the donor's choosing. "Remember me as I was."
