Alta E. Kreger, 77, of Somerset passed away Nov. 29, 2000 at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 3, 1923 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. Daughter of Edwin and Mary (Marker) Kreger. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Jesse Kreger, great-grandson Austin Montgomery and brother Charles "Bud" Kreger. Survived by daughter Virginia, married to Larry Pritts of Somerset, son Terry married to Tammy Kreger, also of Somerset; grandchildren Christine, married to Tony Singo, Terry M. Pritts, Betsy, married to Cory Montgomery and Justin Kreger; great-grandson Connor Singo; and sisters Nina Kreger of Somerset, Pauline Good of Manor and Martha Jean Lemmon of Markleton. Member of the Kingwood Church of God. She was a retired employee of PNCI Bank. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor James Monticue officiating. Interment Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Kingwood Church of God, R.D. 1 Markleton, Pa. 15551.
