Agnes I. Lais Nightingale
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Hope Village Community Center in Canby for Agnes I. Lais Nightingale, who died Dec. 24 at age 92.
Agnes I. Kauffman was born May 24, 1914, in Hubbard. She graduated from Woodburn High and lived most of her life in Molalla, where she was a homemaker. She moved to Canby in the 1980s. In 1932, she married Si Lais; he died in 1957. She married Lyman Nightingale in 1963; he died in 1996.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Lais, Tom Lais and Mike Lais; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her daughter Donna Manley died in 1991. Remembrances to Willamette Falls Hospice. Arrangements by Molalla Funeral Chapel.
