OWENSVILLE (SPECIAL) - Mrs. Ida M. Armstrong, 91 died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at her home, 208 E. State St., Princeton. She had been Ill two months.
A native of Griffin, she had lived in Princeton for 25 years. Her husband, the late Charles C. Armstrong who died in 1937, operated a general store and post office in Griffin for many years. He was also an extensive Posey County landowner.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Griffin Christian Church and the Eastern Star at New Harmony.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cora Harmon, Princeton and Mrs. George Doll, Santa Monica, Calf.; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m.., Friday in the Griffin Christian Church.Burial follows in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.Friends may call at Holder Funeral Home after 2 pm Thursday, the body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday.
