The funeral for Mrs. Peter (Anna) Langlie, 90 will be at 10:30 Monday in the Hanson-Runsvold Chapel with Rev. Carl Carlson officiating. Burial will be in the South Viking Cemetery of rural Maddock, ND. Mrs. Langlie died on Thursday evening in a local hospital. She had been living at the Fargo Nursing Home. Anna Peterson was born in Norway on 30 Jan 1874 and came to the Glencoe, MN area in 1893. She was married at Glencoe and the couple lived there until 1905 when they moved to the Maddock area. Mr. Langlie died in 1923 and she moved to Flora, ND where she lived until 1943 when she moved to Fargo. She was a member of the Flora Lutheran Church and a life member of the American Lutheran Christian Women's Society. She leaves three sons, Palmer Langlie of Fargo, Arthur Langlie of Fargo and Joseph Langlie of Devils Lake; two daughters, Mrs. John (Mabel) Gilbertson of Flora and Mrs. Charles (Astrid) Kristofitz of Fargo; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Two sons and two grandsons preceded her in death.
