Lois V. Boyce Lankford, 72, of the 5400 block of Beckner St., died Aug. 15, 1996. A native of South Norfolk, she had lived in Norfolk since 1953. She was the daughter of the late William Jessie Boyce and Nancy V. Dail Boyce.

Mrs. Lankford was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, and a former member of the American Business Women's Association, Norfolk Towne Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, Morgan S. Lankford ; a son, Robert L. Lankford, and his wife, Kathy; a daughter, Nancy L. Bloise, and her husband, Joseph; four grandchildren, all of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Carlton D. Boyce of Virginia Beach, Wilbur L. Boyce of Chesapeake and the Rev. Edward L. Boyce of Midlothian, Va.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. John C. Dean. Burial will be in the Masonic Gardens of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
