Eula M. Lankford, 71, of the 900 block of St. Paul Blvd., departed this life Nov. 7, 2005. Born in Chesapeake, she was employed with the Little Creek Amphibious Base and the Chesapeake toll bridge until her retirement. She is predeceased by her son, George Edward Lankford Jr. Survivors include three sisters, Rubye Garfield of Coronado Springs, Ruthie Wallace (Rudolph) of Norfolk and Norma Rich (Theodore) of Virginia Beach; one brother, Joseph F. McNair (Mavis) of Virginia Beach; five nieces; seven nephews; and a host of relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Wednesday at noon at St. Mark UCC. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
