Born May 28, 1923 in Red Ash, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha Hill Lankford
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude V. French, Sr. and brothers, Curtis and James
Lankford.
Survivors are sons, Wayne French and Claude French; daughters, Mary Sue Hess, Doris Miller and Dorothy Miller,
sister Dorothy Gilbert; grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special
granddaughter, Diane Burke and Carol French also survive.
The family appreciated the kind care of Dr. Stefanini.
At her request, there will be graveside services only to be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 5,2010, at Greenhills
Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia with Rev. Montie Elswick officiating. Those attend
service are asked to meet at the mausoleum by 11:00 A.M.
