She was born in West Virginia on November 16, 1925 to the late Frank and Maddie Hill Lankford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Bill Lankford, Coy Lee Lankford, Henry Lankford, Charles Lankford; and four sisters: Exie Goard, Ollie May Johnson, Dorthy Handy, and Mary Ellen Pack.
Mrs. Massey is survived by her husband, George Massey of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Linda Clark of Stuart; and one sister, Pauline Nelson; two grandchildren: Wendy Reynolds, Angie Bogel; and two great-grandchildren: Ashley Dials and Claire Bogle.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Wright officiating.
