Arelia “Jeanne” Larance, 78, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cross Pointe Church, 4400 S. Crockett St. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Jeanne was born May 9, 1937, in Hollis, Okla., to O.A. and Faye Boone. She graduated from Ron High School. Jeanne was a bookkeeper throughout her life. She married Kenneth Larance in 1990. They owned Ken’s Battery and Golf Carts until their retirement.

Jeanne loved road trips, especially the ones that involved gambling. She loved her Lord and was a member of Cross Pointe Church. Jeanne also enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth, in 2013; and three brothers, W.T. Boone, Douglas Boone and Curtis Boone.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim Monroe and husband Doug of Amarillo; two sons, David Timmons and wife Robin of Amarillo and Bobby Timmons and wife Becky of Dublin; two stepsons, Donald Larance and wife Marcy and David Larance and wife Denise; three sisters, Fayreen Lucas, Lilly Moldenhauer and Elaine Boatwright; two brothers, Don Boone and Nick Boone; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Cross Pointe Church, 4400 S. Crockett St., Amarillo, 79110.

The family will receive guests from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
