Pat Herren Key, 82, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 in McAllen.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Key was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Ruston, La., to Allen and Minnie Edwards Larance. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 42 years and was a member of Birchman Baptist Church, Telecom Pioneers and Telephone Pioneer Family Campers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy T. Herren, in 1990.
Survivors: Husband, Billy Key of Fort Worth; son, Larry Herren and wife, Anne, of Granbury; stepdaughter, Diane Hanson and husband, Terry, of Cleburne; stepson, David Key and wife, Cindy, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Mindy Gallatti of McKinney and Kerry Phelps of Plano; great-grandchildren, Breck, Brenna and Christopher; stepgranddaughters, Lauren Hanson, Natalisa Key and Becky Key; one niece; and one nephew.
