Albert Laudig
A memorial service for Albert “Al” H. Laudig, a Vancouver resident since 1949, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Laudig, 82, died Friday in Vancouver.
He was born Oct. 1, 1901, in Ringtown, Pa., and last lived at 7820 Middle Way.
Mr. Laudig was retired as West Coast manager of Ballmill Lumber Sales, Inc. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he was head usher for eight years, and a 55-year member of the Cincinnati Masons in Morristown, N.J. He enjoyed golf and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include his widow, Anna, at home; a daughter, Anne Moorefield of Pleasanton, Calif.; and two grandsons.
The Revs. Alvin Fischer and Leigh Taylor will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
The casket will be open until 8 p.m. today at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund of First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver, 98660.
