This is the wedding announcement for the granddaughter of Austin & Elsie Lee, Frances Webb Lee Vogel. From the Tuscaloosa (AL) News, Aug. 6, 1978:

Frances Webb Lee and Gregory Crooks Vogel were united in marriage Friday at the Westervelt-Warner Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. James C. Woods officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony. Mrs. Fred Brown, organist, presented the wedding music.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Austin Webb Lee, Jr. of Tuscaloosa and Mr. and Mrs. John William Vogel of North Fairfield, Ohio.

Mr. Lee gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a formal gown of white silk organza over bridal taffeta. The bodice featured a high neckline and the draped capelet sleeves were edged in venise lace. The empire waistline and A-line skirt were outlined in venise lace and extended to a chapel-length train bordered in matching lace.

Her chapel-length veil of silk illusion fell from a Camelot cap, and she carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.

Mrs. James C. Woods of Indianola, Miss., was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a floor-length chiffon gown of mint green with pink floral design. The gown featured a fitted bodice with a full skirt and matching cape. She carried a bouquet of miniature pink carnations and variegated pittisporum.

Charles Vogel of North Fairfield, Ohio, served his brother as best man. Ushers were Larry Barksdale of Tuscaloosa, Michael Graham of Livingston and James Dyer of Columbus, Ohio.

A reception was held at the Unversity Club. After a wedding trip to Wheeler Resort, the couple will live Tuscaloosa.
