Memorial for June Lee Ball: June Lee Ball joyfully and peacefully entered into the presence of God on Saturday, February 26, 2005. She was born on November 20, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas and has been a lifetime resident of San Antonio. Her parents were George and Hazel Lee who preceded her in death and welcomed her home when she went to be with the Lord. She was very active in her church and her church family was precious to her throughout her entire life. First Assembly of God was her home church for 65 years. The First Assembly family has been a constant source of prayer, encouragement, support and love throughout her illness. It was at this church that she met the love of her life, Lloyd Ball, who would soon become her husband. They were married on February 9, 1945. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just prior to her Homegoing. Many family members and friends attended a reception for them at their home at Sterling House Assisted Living Center and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with them. Lloyd and June were a true example of love and devotion. Everyone who knows them has been blessed by their genuine love for each other and also by their love for the Lord. They served God throughout their courtship and marriage with a depth and excitement that has touched many lives. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Calvin Ball, her son and daughter, Charlie and Debi Mogab of Houston, Texas, Her granddaughter, Beth Yarbrough and Beth's son, Payne both of San Antonio.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nix, Dustin Nix, Charlie Pinkston, Denny Beierle, Bill Manes and Perry Holder. Honorary pallbearers will be Rhollie Nix and Luther Harris.
