Lake C. Lee, 95, of Warrenton, died Feb. 1, 2016, at Gainesville Health and Rehab.

She was born May 20, 1920, to the late David T. and Anna D. Cox.

Mrs. Lee graduated fro Mary Washington College in 1944 and taught in Fauquier County Public Schools for 26 years. She was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church.

Her husband, Edwin J. Lee, and her sister, Elizabeth Williams, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, E. Gilmer Lee of Warrenton, Roger D. Lee and wife Cindy of Warrenton and Arthur L. Lee and wife Gussie of Stephens City; her grandchildren, Kristin L. Black, David A. Lee, Sunshine Burroughs-Kniceley and Francoise Spielman, and her great-grandchildren, Chauncey Spielman, Reese Burroughs, Hayden Spielman and Blake Kniceley.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bright View Cemetery near Warrenton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrenton Baptist Church, 123 Main St., Warrenton, Va. 20186 or to the Fauquier High School FBLA Scholarship Fund, 705 Waterloo Road, Warrenton, Va. 20186.
