♥My Mom♥

Our amazing mom left this world peacefully, with her children at her side, and has joined our dad, her beloved husband of over 72 years, in heaven. She was 97 years, 5 months, and 7 days old. ♫ Heaven Got Another Angel" ♫

Left to cherish her memory are those she loved most: her children David & Sue, her precious grandchildren Michael (Teri) Leferson, Jill (Eric) Bernstein & Wendy (Alan) Speert, her much adored great-grandchildren Jacob & Nickolas Leferson, Benjamin & Abigail Bernstein, and Nathan & Hannah Speert, her dear sisters Ruth Greenfield & Marion Goren, her special former daughter-in-law Terry Leferson, her dear friend, Yolanda, and many other relatives and friends.

Pearl was active well into her 97th year. She swam with friends at the Jewish Community Center three times a week, modeled outfits for the North Stamford AARP fashion shows and arranged their bus trips to the Mohegan Sun Casino on a regular basis, played duplicate bridge at least once a week and earned many Masters points, obtained her Amateur Radio (Ham) license (KA1DKD), and even made her Bat Mitzvah in 1991, at the age of 74. She was active until less than 2 weeks before her death. She was totally selfless, and would do anything for anyone in need. She is terribly missed.

Mom fell in love with Richard & Adam when she saw them on TV, and when I gave her their CD, she played ♫ "The Impossible Dream" ♫ every day.

Thank you, Mom, for being the most amazing mom in the world. I still can't believe you're gone. I love you so much.

Cause of death: Pancreatic cancer
