Lucille Lejeune (Touchet) Alexander, a former payroll clerk with the state Department of Transportation and Development and a resident of Port Allen, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007. She was 87, a native of Brusly and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Tommy Zito of Port Allen; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Barry Alexander of Houston, Brent and Paula Alexander of Plaquemine and Rick and Lynda Alexander of Houma; a sister, Esther Mabile of Luling; a sister-in-law, Olida LeJeune; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Barry and Carolyn Alexander, Todd and Debra Alexander, Dayna and Billy Wall, Travis Zito, Dustin Zito, Richie Alexander, Kaine and Layla Alexander, Lyn Alexander and Kandace Alexander; and five great-grandchildren, Brandi, Nicole, Brandon and Braxton Alexander and Matthew Wall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alexander; grandson, Brent Paul Alexander; parents, Dan and Ada LeJeune; brothers, Harvey, Daniel and Owen LeJeune; and sisters, Ivy Joly, Ada Cravens and Iola Mabile.

Special thanks to Sister Emma, Doris Alexander, Lillie Alexander, caregivers and the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Hospice of Baton Rouge.
