Eloi married Rosalie Meuse in about 1746.. He, his wife, and all but one child died en route to France during the Acadian expulsion. They were exiled with the following:
Jean Lejeune, age 32 (brother of Eloi)
Marguerite LeBlanc, age unknown
Rosalie, age 10
Mathurin, age 8
Marie, age 7
Etienne, age 2
Francois, age 6 months
Rosalie LeBlanc, age 18 (sister of Marguerite, survived)

Rosalie Meuse, wife of Eloi, aged unknown (died) and their children:
Francois, age 12 (survived)
Jean-Baptiste, age 10 (died)
Marie-Josephe, age 7 (died)

They were on one of the "Cinq Paquebots Anglais" ("Five English Ships") - Yarmouth, Patience, Mathias, Restoration, John Samuel. They arrived in St-Malo on January 23, 1759.
