Marie Christine (née LeJeune) Hilms, 62, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Miramar, FL, she had been a Bonita Springs resident since 1992. She was born February 7, 1954 in Peruwelz, Belgium.
Marie loved spending time with her family, friends and coworkers, enjoying a cup of tea or a quick meal at Panera. As a stylist for Saks Fifth Avenue, Marie found satisfaction putting together that perfect outfit for her clients. Between soccer games, babysitting, face timing, she prided herself with being the best Kiki to her grandchildren.
Ms Hilms is survived by her beloved children, Yvette Peak of Ft. Myers, FL, Robert (Cristyn) Hilms of Melbourne, FL and Michelle (John) Petrachonis of San Diego, CA; her loving sisters, Brigitte LeJeune of Casselberry, FL, Arlette (Daniel) Dannenhauer of Bonita Springs, FL and Beatrice (Ronald) Goodwin of Stuart, FL; her mother, Suzanne (née Fermont) Lejeune of Naples, FL; and four cherished grandchildren, Abigayle, Hudson, Roman and Johnny.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emile LeJeune.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28290 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs.
Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home.
