Burial followed in the Tee Mamou Cemetery. Mrs. Bergeaux died in a local nursing home after a length illness. She was a native of Acadia Parish and a lifelong resident of Evangeline.
She was survived by one son, Howard Bereaux of Evangeline; five daughters, Mrs. Attie Hebert, Mrs. Eva Miller and Mrs. Loah Simar, all of Evangeline, Mrs. Hertha Fruge of Jennings and Mrs. Rita Wade of New Iberia; one brother, Raymond LeJeune of Evangeline; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Daigle of Jennings; 37 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
