Mr. Lewis was a lifelong Springfield resident. He retired in 1972 from Pillsbury Mills Co., where he was a packer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 437 and American Federation of Grain Millers.
Survivors: wife, Leatha L. Lewis; a daughter, Mrs. Jean (Joan) Tomlinson of Clearwater, Fla.; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; and a niece.
Services: Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Bruce Naylor officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
