Myrna J. Lester
SHERMAN, IL - Myrna J. Lester, 83, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at her home.
Myrna was born March 15, 1930, in Hayti, Mo., the daughter of Hugh and Juanita Herrell Lewis. She married Gene D. Lester on April 30, 1949, in Springfield and he preceded her in death.
Myrna was a 1948 graduate of East Alton Wood River High School and worked at several office locations, as well as JCPenney and Terry Properties. She loved computers, shopping, and animals.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gene "Greg" and Brian Lester.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Webber and Kimela (Joseph) Trueblood; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Wanda Yankovich and Herrell (Bettie) Lewis.
Graveside Ceremony: 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Roselawn Memorial Park at the Virtues of Life Columbarium.
Cremation was accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
