Nina L. Fay, 78, of Riverton died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Springfield, the daughter of William B. and Berniece Robinson Lewis.
She married Arthur Fay in 1935 in Springfield.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1988; a son, Gary; and a sister, Lottie Smith.
Mrs. Fay was a member of First United Methodist Church in Riverton, former member of Violet Rebekah Lodge and a member of Sangamon County Home Extension.
She had been employed by Bressmers Department Store for 15 years and retired in 1978.
Surviving are a son, Dale E. of Springfield; three daughters, Shirley Goodall of Riverton, Mrs. James (Mary Louise) Lard of Urbana and Dianna S. Fay of Riverton; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Daniel Diss officiating.
Remains will then be cremated.
Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
