Philomena (Lima) Anacleto, 70, of North Dartmouth died Sunday November 3, 2002 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of Edward J. Anacleto, with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September 2002.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Encananzie) Lima, she had lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Mrs. Anacleto was formerly employed as an assembler at Alberox until her retirement.

She had been a foster grandparent and she loved to play Bingo.

Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Jana M. Laperriere of Acushnet, and Debra L. Usman of Smyrna, GA; 2 sons, Edward J. Anacleto, Jr., of Leesburg, VA, and Alan A. Anacleto of Deltona, Fla.; 2 brothers, John Lima of Oakland, CA, and Henry "Bobby" Lima of Concord, CA; 3 sisters, Emily "Mamie" Anacleto of Dartmouth, Shirley Gomes of Brockton, and Helen Pina of Broderick, CA; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Florence "Margie" Rose, Eugenia "Jenny" Brown and Joseph Lima.

Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordThursday November 7, 2002 at 8 AM.Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday November 6, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
