Mrs. Mary Price Lincoln, wife of Col. Charles P. Lincoln of this city, died at Atlantic City yesterday, where she had been taken in the hope that the sea air might prolong her life. Mrs. Lincoln was taken ill shortly after Christmas, on her return from a visit to the Soldiers’ Home at Hampton, Va., where her father, Rev. William Price, is chaplain. Since her marriage at Louisville, Ky., in 1864, Mrs. Lincoln, with the exception of six years’ residence in China where he husband was United States consul, has resided almost continuously in Washington and was respected and beloved by a large circle of friends. The funeral will take place Sunday at 2:30 from St. Andrew’s Church, 14th and Corcoran streets, and the interment will be at Arlington.
