Barney Florey Lincoln, 75, of the 2900 block of E. Malden Ave., died March 5, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Lincoln was born in Washington, N.C. and was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. He was a retired firefighter for the Norfolk Fire Dept. after 26 years and was also retired from the Little Creek Exchange. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Martha B. Lincoln; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Sliger of Kingsport, Tenn.; three sons, Barney Luther Lincoln of Newport News, William Jerry Lincoln of Norfolk, and Edward Thomas Lincoln of Chesapeake; one sister, Naomi L. Kigerl of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, March 8, 1995, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lamar Sentell in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family wil be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
