MRS. ALFRED AHLSTEDT
Mrs. Sadie C. Ahlstedt, 92, whose home was south of Smolan, died Thursday at the Shalimar nursing home. She was born May 26, 1880, at Smolan and spent nearly her entire life on a farm 1-1/2 miles from Smolan.
She was a member of the Smolan Covenant Church.
She was the widow of Alfred Ahlstedt.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Delphie Applequist, Smolan; a son, Darrel, Smolan; 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Smolan Covenant Church, Dr. William Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Mission Hill cemetery, Smolan. Friends may call at the Chapel funeral home, Salina, until 10 am Saturday, then at the church.
