Mellie L. Hall, 94, of Blacksburg, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Radford Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born October 10, 1907, the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Lillie Richardson Linkous. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Hall, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her sister, Cora Linkous Dickerson, Blacksburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a lifetime member of Blacksburg Baptist Church, where she taught the Margaret Beeks Sunday School Class. She also taught for many years at Prices Fork Elementary School in Montgomery County.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, March 18, 2002, at the Home Funeral Home chapel in Christiansburg, with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
