Mary Lou Cushing Linkous Blair, 77, of 5 B Riggs St., Dublin, died Sunday morning in the Radford Community Hospital.

Born Feb. 20, 1914 in Dublin, she was the daughter of the late Madison Allen Linkous and Lola Mae Bandy Linkous.

She was a member of the Dublin Presbyterian Church, a member of the Virginia Rebekah Lodge #72 Narrows, and a retired Lab Technician with Celanese Corp., Narrows.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Paul C and Eugene C. Linkous.

Surviving are one daughter, Barbara C. Boykin, Winston Salem, N.C.; two sons, Woodrow Maddy, Dublin, William D. Collier, Ormond Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Dublin, with the Rev. Victor Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Dublin Cemetery, Dublin. Visiting will be anytime today after 1 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, East Main St., Dublin. Bower Funeral Chapel, Dublin, is handling the arrangements.
