Mrs. Eavey, a life resident of Tippecanoe County, was a member of Clarks Hill Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Lafayette Home Hospital Auxiliary, and was past matron and 50-year member of Dayton Chapter 233, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Gilbert Eavey of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Bertie Lou Brown of Kingwood, TX; a nephew, Robert Loft, who was reared in the Eavey home; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
