DEATH AT FTN GREEN.
Died at Fountain Green June 10, 1899, Caroline Christiansen, wife of Soren Christiansen. She was born near Aarhus, in Denmark July 6, 1857 [sic.]. Emigrated to Utah in 1860, and crossed the plains with ox team and settled in Ft. Green in 1861 making her home in the city ever since that time. She was the mother of two children, Bishop C. J. Christiansen, and Maria, wife of Lars Nielsen. She leaves a husband, two children, twenty-two grand children and one great grandchild.
She was at the time of her death counsellor to president of Relief Society in this city. Funeral took place on Tuesday last, thirty five vehicles laden with the people of this ward followed the remains to the cemetery. Twenty one of her grandchildren were present at the funeral. She was a faithful Latter-day Saint and died with the hope of a glorious resurrection.
