She was born October 15, 1925 in Mansfield to Gilbert L. and Esther (Voll) Logan. Margaret was a quiet person who especially enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the lakes. She also enjoyed playing in her two monthly card clubs. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and also attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William G. and Agnes M. Birmelin of Mansfield and Lewis and Barbara Birmelin of Avon, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Sherry R. Wray, Kristie J. Wray, Mistie A. Wray, Robert W. Birmelin, Michael Rhyan, Noah A. Birmelin, Moses W.J. Birmelin, and Margaret D. Birmelin; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Ann Sipes of Galion, Ohio.
Her husband, William David Birmelin, parents, Gilbert and Esther Logan, and sister, Jackie Logan all preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, June 9 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Dr. Wray C. Smith. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
