She was an LPN and medical coder for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital before retiring in 2016. She was a member of Macungie Church of the Nazarene. She was a board member of Lehigh Valley Thunderbird Club. Carolyn was an avid reader and loved the beach. She bowled for over 34 years at Parkway Bowling Alley, Allentown.
Survivors: husband; daughter Danielle wife of John Kates; two granddaughters, Myrisa and Kalyn. A daughter, Michele Shupp predeceased her in 2014.
Services: 10:30 am Friday, September 29, 2017 at Trexler Funeral Home 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin at 9:30 am. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
