Mrs. Betty Jo Atkins, age 79, of Griffin, Georgia passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Eternal Hope Hospice.
Mrs. Atkins was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 5, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pierce Long and Myrtle Stubbs Long; her husband, Jerry Frank Atkins; brothers, Donald Long and Gary Long. She had been employed for over 20 years as a secretary with the law firm of Attorney Troutman Sanders. Mrs. Atkins enjoyed NASCAR racing.
Visitation for Mrs. Betty Jo Akins will be on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Fairburn. Reverend Gene Luke will officiate.
