Long 11 and his second wife, Jane 'Allen'
Long. She was born in McMinn County, Tn.,
after her parents and her grandparents
moved from Sevier County, Tn. to McMinn.
She was the granddaughter of Rev. George
W. Long 1 and Nancy 'Elizabeth' Maples
Long. Also John R. Allen and Mary
'Dawson' Allen.
She died June 30, 1904, at Highpoint, in
Walker County, Ga. Her father and step
mother, Elizabeth 'Smceler' Long moved to
Georgia in about 1848. Elizabeth was
raised here w/her half sibblings and
sibblings. Her father was first married
to Elizabeth 'Allen,' the older sister
of her mother, Jane 'Allen' Long. After
Jane, her mother passed, her father, John
married for the third and last time to
Elizabeth 'Smecler' Long.
Elizabeth met and married John L. Allison.
They were married in Walker County,
Georgia on August 4, 1857. They were the
parents of 6 children listed in order:

Daniel Albert
Mary Elizabeth
Sallie Caldona
Lena Arvorna
She became a member of the Chattanooga
Valley Baptist Church during the spring
of 1866. Elizabeth was a devout Christian
and loving wife and mother. Her husband
died during 1918, at Cenchat, Ga. John
was a brother of Albert Allison, second
husband of Martha 'Long' Killingsworth,
her sister.
